The Macleay Valley Sports Foundation in conjunction with Office of Communities - Sport and Recreation, Kempsey Council,Kempsey PCYC, Mission Australia, The Macleay Active Youth Movement and Dunghutti Youth and Culture in celebration of NAIDOC Week are conducting primary and high school Traditional Indigenous Games Gala Days in Kempsey in June 2012.

GIRLS FOOTY FESTIVAL
Office of Communities- Sport and Recreation in conjunction with Macleay Valley Sports and Kempsey Council are conducting a FREE Girls Footy Festival on 11 September 2012 at Verge Street Oval, Kempsey.
This is a great opportunity for girls in year 4, 5 & 6 to come and try a variety of sports in a safe and fun environment. The object of the day is to provide a basic understanding of each football code and increase the interest of girls in what are considered traditional male sports.Teachers can also take useful coaching tips back to their school. Teacher / student ratios apply.
